We invite you to join us in a stunning private jungle beach retreat space ...where sea-kissed breezes fold into the sweet serenades of jungle song birds and exotic fruits grow on trees right outside your door.
Daily yoga and breath-based practices will uplift our energy to thrive and expand and return to "pura vida", the peaceful simplicity of life. Enjoy the "floating yoga deck" overlooking the ocean - hike to a waterfall, swim in the ocean... relax by the pool or hot tub, and make lifelong friends.
Practice is not something we perfect.
It is something we return to.
The Nature of Practice is an invitation to step away from the pace of daily life and spend a week immersed in movement, meaningful conversation, nourishing meals, restorative rest, and the extraordinary natural beauty of Costa Rica.
Hosted by Colby Rolando and Marina Caceres, this intimate seven-night retreat brings together alignment-based yoga, embodied movement, meditation, personal inquiry, and intentional time in nature. Together, we explore practice not as something confined to a yoga mat, but as a way of relating more fully to ourselves, our communities, and the world around us.
Designed for dedicated students, teachers, and lifelong learners, The Nature of Practice offers a thoughtfully balanced rhythm of structured learning and spaciousness. Morning practices cultivate strength, awareness, and clarity, while afternoon sessions invite reflection, curiosity, and exploration. Ample free time allows guests to enjoy the beautiful grounds, ocean views, the pool, spa services, and the simple luxury of having nowhere else to be.

- 7 night accommodations
- 3 delicious vegan/vegetarian meals a day. Gourmet farm-to-table cuisine with ingredients from the retreats permaculture gardens
- 2+ hours of Yoga /Qigong & Meditation Circles daily when not out on excursions
- Adventures to a waterfall & beach
- Free time for relaxation – taking in the gorgeous ocean views, or a dip in the pool/hot tub
- Transportation to and from San Jose Airport (if you are coming in at the suggested time)
- Does not include extras: Private one on one sessions, alcoholic beverages, massage - and a night prior to and after the retreat at the suggested hotel in San Jose to get the group transport the morning of Saturday April 24 and flight back to the US on May 2.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of $1000 per person for a double shared room and $1500 for a Single accommodation is required to secure each place on this retreat. Additional installments towards the retreat balance during the retreat payment schedule, including “Pay in Full” payments are also non-refundable.
RESPONSIBILITY, WAIVER & RELEASE
Elevate Well LLC (a.k.a. “Elevate” or “Elevate Well”), Ray and Colby Rolando (a.k.a. “staff”), and their affiliated hotels, retreat centers, transportation providers, excursion and adventure vendors, and local operators (a.k.a. “affiliates”) reserve the right to reschedule retreat dates or retreat venue in accordance with external circumstances (i.e. world health crises, natural disasters, etc.) and retreat center policies.
Since last-minute injuries, illnesses, work emergencies, natural disasters and crises (i.e. hurricane, pandemic, etc.) or deaths in the family unfortunately do happen, participants are responsible for and highly advised to be adequately insured, therefore Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended (e.g. AIG offers Travel Guard at affordable rates).
I or my representative(s) agree to fully release and hold harmless Ray and Colby Rolando, Elevate Well, their partners and members, and any practitioners or affiliates working with or for Ray or Colby Rolando or Elevate Well, from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with this retreat and connected services.
Elevate Well and its staff and affiliates reserve the right 1) to make any changes to services and itineraries that may become necessary, with or without notice, and 2) to correct errors in their published rates or totals that are miscalculated on any of our marketing materials, websites, or registration forms for technical reasons.
